PRP/PRF

Our med spa offers PRP and PRF treatments to rejuvenate your skin, promote hair growth, and accelerate healing using your body’s own natural growth factors.

What is PRP & PRF?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are treatments that utilize your own blood to promote healing and rejuvenation.

  • PRP involves drawing your blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and injecting it into targeted areas to stimulate collagen production, tissue repair, and regeneration. It's commonly used for skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, and injury healing.
  • PRF is similar but processed differently to retain more growth factors and includes fibrin, which helps the platelets stay together longer. This results in a slower release of growth factors, providing longer-lasting effects for skin and hair rejuvenation.

What are the Benefits?

  • Skin Rejuvenation: Both treatments promote collagen production, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and improving overall skin texture and elasticity.
  • Hair Restoration: PRP and PRF stimulate hair follicles, encouraging hair growth and reducing hair thinning or loss.
  • Natural Healing: Since both use your own blood, there’s minimal risk of allergic reactions or side effects.
  • Minimized Downtime: Both procedures have minimal downtime, with most people returning to regular activities quickly.
  • Improved Skin Tone: They help even out skin tone, reduce dark circles, and enhance radiance, leaving the skin looking fresher and more youthful.
  • Long-Lasting Results: PRF, in particular, provides longer-lasting effects due to the gradual release of growth factors.
  • Non-Surgical: Both treatments offer a non-invasive alternative to surgery for skin and hair rejuvenation, making them popular options for those seeking natural results.

What to Expect After your Treatment

  • Mild Swelling and Redness: The treated areas may be slightly swollen or red, especially around the injection sites, but this typically subsides within a few hours to a day.
  • Bruising: Some bruising may occur, particularly if injections were done around delicate areas, but it should resolve within a few days.
  • Minimal Downtime: Most people can return to daily activities immediately, though it's advised to avoid strenuous exercise or touching the treated areas for 24-48 hours.
  • Gradual Results: The benefits of PRP/PRF appear over time as collagen and tissue regeneration occur. It can take a few weeks to a few months to see full results.
  • Mild Discomfort: You may experience slight discomfort or a tight feeling in the treated area, but it should subside quickly.
  • Follow-up Treatments: Depending on your goals, you may need multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart for optimal results.
